Alternatively, there is also the SoftWash System that we use, where the emphasis is put on the correct cleaning solution to do most of the work. Due to this, only soft pressure is applied to the roof to flush away the dirt. At Pressure Washing Clearwater we use both systems successfully.

When professionals think of soft washing roofs and siding, the top cleaning chemical used is a professional-grade 12.5% sodium hypochlorite, or bleach, mixed with water.

Soft washing typically makes a better choice for washing homes since it's safer and won't damage the residence's siding. A washer using high-pressure water can morph delicate side panels much easier than a soft wash, making pressure washing less preferable. Although you can pressure wash a house, I don't recommend it.
